really communicated with in forever, so I have an excellent excuse. I
think I've hit backspace more times than there are actual characters on
here. My fingers are freezing. I can hear the ice crackle in the
veins as I bend them.

Living Windows is on Friday. In years past that would fill me with
excitement. I loved walking around with my girls, chattering and
laughing as the guys cracked joke after joke, then running into stores
to warm up, drink hot chocolate, perform, or watch our friends
perform. I'm just not as into it this year. My thoughts mostly run on
how some of the friends won't be there and knowing I still have no idea
what I'm going to be playing. Watch me come home Friday on a completely
unexpected happiness high!

I wanted to do a photo post of Thanksgiving, but Xanga was being VERY
difficult with uploading the pictures and putting them in a blog. So I
suppose it shall have to wait until I can figure it out.

Hmmm... As I look back, this blog is neither amusing, inspirational,
nor informative. This, my friends, is how NOT to blog. I keep trying
to think of some redeeming something I can stick in here... I know!
Song lyrics! They make any blog look thoughtful. I love the Gettys.
I'm going to bed.

Oh, to see the dawn
Of the darkest day:
Christ on the road to Calvary.
Tried by sinful men,
Torn and beaten, then
Nailed to a cross of wood.

This, the power of the cross:
Christ became sin for us;
Took the blame, bore the wrath—
We stand forgiven at the cross.

Oh, to see the pain
Written on Your face,
Bearing the awesome weight of sin.
Every bitter thought,
Every evil deed
Crowning Your bloodstained brow.

This, the power of the cross:
Christ became sin for us;
Took the blame, bore the wrath—
We stand forgiven at the cross.

Now the daylight flees;
Now the ground beneath
Quakes as its Maker bows His head.
Curtain torn in two,
Dead are raised to life;
"Finished!" the victory cry.

This, the power of the cross:
Christ became sin for us;
Took the blame, bore the wrath—
We stand forgiven at the cross.

Oh, to see my name
Written in the wounds,
For through Your suffering I am free.
Death is crushed to death;
Life is mine to live,
Won through Your selfless love.

This, the power of the cross:
Son of God—slain for us.
What a love! What a cost!
We stand forgiven at the cross.
